AAA takes special measures to be prepared for unfavorable weather conditions; however, during periods of extremely poor weather, the many service requests can overload phone lines. If service is unavailable through AAA, please call the nearest garage and obtain an itemized receipt for services rendered.

Submit the original receipt and a completed application for reimbursement * within 60 days for refund of the prevailing commercial rate of covered emergency road service expenses.

If AAA service is available but not requested, your reimbursement may be limited to the Club's contract rate. Mechanical repair, tire repair, special equipment, and labor charges are not reimbursable and should be shown separately from the road service charge on the bill. Reimbursements are based on the guidelines and limitations listed in the Member Benefits Guide. Plus members receive reimbursement in accordance with the additional and extended coverages of Plus membership.

This form is only for members of AAA Northwest Ohio. Members of other clubs should contact their club's Member Relations department. AAA Northwest Ohio must receive reimbursement applications within 60 days of the date of service. Receipts will not be returned to the member. If the proper procedure for obtaining emergency road service was followed, and AAA service is not available, or AAA contractor access is restricted (toll roads, limited access highways), the club will provide reimbursement for covered services at the prevailing commercial rate for the region. Reimbursement on restricted access roads may be limited to the cost of towing the vehicle to the nearest exit or responding garage, at the member's discretion.

If AAA service was available, but not requested, reimbursement may be limited to the amount the club would normally have paid for the covered service. The club may adjust or deny reimbursement for service provided by individuals or companies not normally engaged in providing emergency road service.

The name of the AAA Northwest Ohio member must appear on the original receipt. Third parties are not eligible for reimbursement. Expenses for services ordered by authority of third parties (police, property owners, etc.) for the violation of laws, ordinances, or private property restrictions are not refundable.

Expenses for repair or mechanical adjustments, vehicle storage, accident scene clean-up, and removal of snow or other debris are not refundable. If refunded, each service indicated on the receipt will count as one call used against the total allowed service calls per membership year.

Members that have used all of their allowed service calls for the current membership year are not eligible for a refund.
